This interactive Q&A session will address the most frequent and common types of construction project disputes. We will identify the warning signs that signal the onset of a dispute and will explain how to respond when a dispute first arises. We will explore the importance of good recordkeeping and accurate project financial reporting. We will also explain the costs and benefits of available dispute resolution processes and the respective roles of attorneys and financial professionals in the successful resolution of disputes.

Axel Bolvig III, Partner

Axel Bolvig focuses his practice on construction law and federal government contracts. He joined Bradley after earning engineering and law degrees from Duke University. Axel has represented some of the nation’s largest and most successful federal contractors on projects throughout the country. He has experience representing contractors to the General Services Administration, Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Highway Administration (through the states), NASA, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Amandeep S. Kahlon, Partner

Aman is a seasoned construction litigator with experience representing owners, contractors, and subcontractors on projects built throughout the United States. He has helped clients successfully navigate disputes on a diverse array of projects, including embassies, hospitals, environmental cleanup and remediation of toxic sites, fossil fuel power plants, solar farms, and battery energy storage facilities. Aman devotes a substantial portion of his practice to power and energy work. In the renewable space, he has represented several large solar general contractors and developers on disputes with module suppliers, OEM providers, design firms, owners, and subcontractors. Aman handles all types of traditional construction claims as well as typical project administration issues.

J. Christopher Selman, Partner

Christopher Selman is a litigator, representing clients in a variety of industries, such as construction, government contracting, energy, and real estate. Christopher’s construction practice involves the representation of owners, EPC contractors, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in a variety of issues and projects, both public and private. His experience includes prosecuting and defending delay, extra work, impact, and inefficiency claims on public and private jobs. He has experience with federal government contracting and preparing and prosecuting large claims against multiple government agencies and departments, including the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Army Corps of Engineers.
